Overview

Camión is a real and moving story created for Havas Gurisa Uruguay and its client Anda. Filmed in Cabo Polonio, it portrays the daily life of a young girl who lives in this remote place and, thanks to a truck, is able to attend school in Castillos. Every morning at 6 a.m., this vehicle picks her up and takes her to study, making her its only passenger and her bridge to a future with more opportunities. With carefully crafted cinematography and a simple yet profound narrative, the commercial highlights how a small gesture can change a life.

Challenges & Approach

Filming in Cabo Polonio was a challenge due to its limited access and unpredictable weather. I opted for an authentic narrative, using natural light and frames that highlight both the essence of the story and the rustic beauty of the place. The environment not only frames the story but also enhances its contrast between hardship and the possibility of a better future.

The Result

Camión successfully conveyed the message that "the world needs more opportunities," emphasizing the importance of helping others. The combination of poetic imagery and a relatable story allowed the commercial to connect with viewers, reinforcing the commitment of Anda to its customers in building a better future.
