Overview
Cinema is born from wonder. From light cutting through the darkness. "Noldchter" is a tribute to that primal magic, to the curiosity that drives us to watch, to imagine. Inspired by 100 years of ARRI and the renovation of Musitelli, the most important equipment rental in Uruguay, the short film transforms a construction site into a playground. Two children sneak in at night, drawn by the unknown. Light, space, and imagination do the rest.
Challenges & Approach
Without conventional narrative structures, the film is built through photography and lighting. A single art element: the masks worn by the workers during the day, which at night become symbols of an imaginary world.
The Result
A moment suspended between reality and fantasy. A tribute to Arnold and Richter, whose fragmented names give life to the title. A reminder that cinema, at its core, remains a play of light and shadows.
